Delegation Visits Yunhe Exhibiting Enterprises
From January 6 to 9, Zhou Hongfei, Deputy Secretary of the Yunhe County Party Committee and County Mayor, led a delegation to Hong Kong to attend the Toy Fair and conduct investment promotion. The delegation held in-depth exchanges and business negotiations with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong-based enterprises and exhibitors, further boosting the high-quality development of county industries and building a national model of common prosperity for new urbanization in mountainous counties.
The delegation attended the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, currently the largest toy fair in Asia and the second largest worldwide, serving as a key gateway for toy enterprises to enter the Asia-Pacific market. More than 10 Yunhe enterprises including Zhejian Xin Yun Wood Industry Group Co. Ltd. Zhejiang Jinma Crafts Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Guanyi Toys Co., Ltd. took part in the exhibition, while over 20 other local enterprises visited the fair. At the venue, Zhou Hongfei paid a visit to each Yunhe exhibitor, engaging in in-depth discussions with company principals on order volume, customer resources and exhibition outcomes. The delegation also visited exhibitors from other regions, encouraging relevant departments to draw on advanced experience from toy enterprises in Chenghai, Suzhou and other places, and make more beneficial explorations for the development of Yunhe’s wooden toy industry.
The delegation also held in-depth talks with the organizer, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. At present, Yunhe is home to over 1,000 wooden toy enterprises, with nearly 30% of foreign orders placed through Hong Kong. Yunhe has an increasingly strong desire to deepen economic cooperation between the two regions, expecting the Council to offer more support in enterprise exhibition participation and external promotion, and attract more Hong Kong merchants to invest and develop in Yunhe.
At the University of Hong Kong, the delegation held a forum with Ng Hok Fai, Lifetime Chair Professor and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Hong Kong, and Yuan Shuofeng, President of the Hong Kong Yunhe Fellow Association. They shared hometown sentiments and hoped the guests would continue to care about Yunhe’s economic development and public welfare causes, and support local construction. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Yunhe Fellow Association is expected to give full play to its organizational strengths to connect and serve fellow townsfolk, boost hometown development, and jointly build a closer community with shared interests.
The delegation also visited a number of Hong Kong-based enterprises including LIDL Hong Kong Office and Playgo Toys Limited. At each stop, the delegation had in-depth communication with local principals on strengthening R&D and design, improving warehousing and logistics, and securing exhibition platforms. Zhou Hongfei stated that Yunhe has always regarded market expansion as a key focus for the development of the wooden toy industry. He hoped relevant enterprises would deepen cooperation with Yunhe, leverage respective strengths to expand collaboration in product design, market development and project investment, and jointly create a new pattern of mutually beneficial development.
