On January 12th, after concluding the 4-day 50th Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, wooden toy enterprises from Yunhe County embarked on their return journey with fruitful achievements. Unlike previous years, this year’s first overseas exhibition team from Yunhe was led by Li Zhongwei, Secretary of the County Party Committee. It not only boosted enterprises’ confidence in seizing market share, but also injected strong momentum into Yunhe’s investment and talent recruitment work for the new year.

According to the person in charge of Yunhe County Bureau of Economy and Commerce, a total of 11 enterprises participated in the exhibition, including Zhejiang Xinyun Wood Industry Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jinma Crafts Co., Ltd., Yunhe Lvlin Preschool Education Toy Equipment Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Kemicky Crafts Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Guanyi Toys Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Zhimu Toys Co., Ltd., with a number of other enterprises attending as visitors.

"We have gained a lot from this exhibition. We not only had face-to-face exchanges with regular clients, but also met many new partners. In four days, we attracted more than 100 potential customers with intended orders exceeding 3 million yuan," said the person in charge of Zhejiang Youbeier Toys Co., Ltd. with excitement.

Certainly, Youbeier was not the only beneficiary of the Hong Kong trip. On the afternoon of January 10th, Yunhe Hongteng Wooden Toy Exhibition Hall signed a Strategic Cooperation Letter of Intent with Hong Kong Chuangsheng Education College Limited, laying a solid foundation for Yunhe wooden toys to further expand the global market.

We are full of confidence in achieving greater development this year," remarked the person in charge of Zhejiang Jinma Crafts Co., Ltd.

In fact, this overseas market expansion is only a microcosm of Yunhe’s global layout for the wooden toy industry. In recent years, amid severe domestic and international challenges, Yunhe has accelerated the structural optimization of the traditional wooden toy industry, promoting the transformation of the whole industrial chain from extensive development focused on scale expansion to intensive development featuring quality improvement and efficiency enhancement. Meanwhile, innovative investment promotion models such as industrial chain investment and fund-based investment have been adopted to introduce industry-leading enterprises, flagship enterprises and headquarters-based enterprises, realizing efficient allocation of factor resources and continuously boosting corporate benefits and international competitiveness. Up to now, three major projects including the HABA Asian wooden toy assembly production line have been introduced, with a total investment of 329 million yuan.

It is worth mentioning that Yunhe County cooperated with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council during the toy fair, setting up promotional light boxes for Yunhe wooden toys at multiple locations in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and unifying the "Yunhe Wooden Toys" logo at all enterprise booths, further raising the popularity of the regional brand.

"By going global to participate in exhibitions, enterprises can keep abreast of the latest market trends, identify gaps and make up for shortcomings to achieve better development. As the competent authority, we will adjust and introduce preferential policies in a timely manner according to enterprise demands, build platforms for enterprises, and help them march faster and farther with government support," said the person in charge of Yunhe County Bureau of Economy and Commerce.
